1. Who we are
Appcessorise ("we", "us") provides the service described below. These terms apply to everyone who uses the website, the API, or buys a product through us. By creating an account, generating an API key, or placing an order, you agree to them.
2. What the service does
We let app developers add custom printed products to their apps. You send us artwork through our API, we generate a product mockup, and if a customer buys it we produce and ship the item through our print partner, Printful. Developers earn a commission on sales they refer.
3. Accounts and API keys
- You are responsible for everything done with your API key. Keep it secret and never ship it in client-side code.
- You can rotate your key at any time from your dashboard. Rotate it immediately if you think it has leaked.
- We may suspend an account or key that is abusing the service, breaking these terms, or putting customers at risk.
- You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live.
4. Your artwork and content
You keep ownership of the artwork you or your users upload. You grant us and our print partner a licence to reproduce it for the purpose of making and delivering the ordered item, and to display a mockup of it back to you.
You confirm that you have the right to use every image you send us. Do not upload anything that infringes copyright or trademarks, uses someone's likeness without permission, or is unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit. We may refuse or cancel any order, and pass on details to rights holders where the law requires it.
5. Orders, prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars and are calculated by us at checkout. A price shown in an app is an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store full card details.
- A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email, not when payment is authorised.
- Taxes and any import duties may be added depending on the delivery address, and are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- If an order cannot be produced, we cancel it and refund in full.
6. Production and delivery
Items are printed on demand by Printful and shipped directly to the customer. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and do not include customs delays. Risk passes to the customer on delivery.
7. Returns and refunds
Items are made to order, so our returns policy is limited. See the Refunds & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in it removes statutory consumer rights that apply where you live.
8. Developer commissions
- Developers earn 15% of the product price on sales attributed to their API key.
- Commission is earned once the order has shipped and the refund window has passed. Refunded, charged-back or fraudulent orders earn nothing, and commission already approved for such an order is reversed.
- Referring your own purchases to earn commission on them, or generating orders you intend to refund, is not allowed and will result in forfeited commission and account suspension.
- We may change the commission rate with reasonable notice. Changes are not retrospective.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on commission you receive.
9. Acceptable use of the API
Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the service, bypass rate limits, resell raw API access, or use it to build a directly competing print-on-demand API. We may apply rate limits and block traffic that threatens reliability.
10. Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give notice of material changes to the API where we reasonably can.
11. Liability
We provide the service "as is" to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
12. Ending your account
You may close your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms. Orders already placed and paid for are still fulfilled, and commission already earned is still paid.
13. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change and continued use means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
